Melissa Bachman
Melissa Bachman grew up in central Minnesota, raised on hunting and fishing. She was surrounded and guided by family and mentors to whom the outdoors wasn’t just something you did, it was a way of life. After graduating with honors and a degree in television broadcasting, she began as an unpaid TV intern. Within months Melissa was offered a position as a full time producer where she traveled the country filming, producing and editing shows with a variety of incredible hunters. She also spent every spare moment of her free time arduously filming and editing her own hunts. Today, Melissa spends over 200 days a year traveling around the country hunting and doing seminars. She is also the executive producer of her series Winchester Deadly Passion in its 14th season.
Ray Reeves
Being raised on a farm in the Northeast and coming from a heritage of hunters, Ray not only has developed a passion for hunting wildlife, but more so creating the habitat and food sources to hold that wildlife!
Ray started the Genesis Wildlife Group, which is a wildlife consulting, development, and land management group which consults thousands of acres of private lands and currently some of the largest and most respected groups in the industry. Genesis Wildlife Group is also a distributor for many of the leading wildlife product manufacturers of seed, scents, hunting blinds, treestands, etc.
With over 35 years of experience in farming for wildlife, Ray also travels the East Coast and into the Midwest passing his experiences and knowledge on to those of like passion, sharing the principles of “practical plotting & wildlife habitat" on a level that can be beneficial to all.
Nate Hosie
There are a couple of things Montdale, Pennsylvania is known for, one being it’s dairy farms and ice cream, the Montdale Country Club and the other being Lake-land Football. But here lately, there is one more buzz coming from the small dairy town, and that is none other than HeadHunters TV’s own Nate Hosie aka “The Turkey Slayer”. He has built a name for himself locally and across the country for his hunting skills in the woods as host of the hit tv show HeadHunters TV on the outdoor channel.
Hosie has also found amazing success in the country music scene. He has opened for and shared the stage with some of the biggest performers in the business. It’s no wonder that at the end of the day, whether it’s calling turkeys, hunting deer, chasing elk or making music straight from his heart, Nate Hosie knows just what a lucky man he is to get to live the life he does.
*Please note: Adam Hays, who was originally scheduled to be on the panel, will not be in attendance due to unforeseen circumstances.
Dressing for Cold Water Paddling
with Blake Longworth of NRS
Saturday, April 27, 1pm-2pm
Paddlesports Department
"Since my first pontoon boat ride out on Eagle Lake, before I could walk, I have been in love with water. I started paddling soon after and in all those years, I really haven’t gotten much better at it! I think I’ve swam out of more watercraft than most people have ever seen! But my biggest passion now is sharing the water and the outdoors with my wife and two daughters.” Blake comes to us from our friends at NRS and brings 17 years of experience in the paddlesports industry. When Blake isn’t paddling (or swimming next to a boat), you can find him skiing, hiking, biking, or just chasing his daughters around outside and loving every second of it.
